Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to engineering specifications. The CNC Programmer/Machinist should have a deep understanding of CNC programming, machine operation, and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. CNC Programming: Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to produce parts with high precision and efficiency.
  2. Machine Setup: Set up and configure CNC machines, including tool selection, workpiece fixtures, and calibration.
  3. Machine Operation: Operate CNC machines, monitor machine performance, and make adjustments as needed.
  4. Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and make necessary adjustments to maintain high-quality standards.
  5. Tool Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines and tools, performing routine maintenance as required.
  6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, tooling, and production data.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to resolve technical issues and improve processes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in machining or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and operating various CNC machines.
  • Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CAM software.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
